A full-service camp center

We organize diverse camps and camp school programs throughout the year! The unique setting of Suomenlinna offers a touch of history dating back to the 18th century, a piece of our beautiful archipelago nature, and, above all, a safe environment for hosting camp schools or other camps. Our programs emphasize themes such as the Baltic Sea and archipelago nature, history and cultural heritage, as well as development of group dynamics and teamwork skills.

Affordable quality meeting services

Our big hall room is an ideal space for training sessions, meetings, team-building days, or as a venue for events, accommodating up to 40 people. Our high-quality and sustainably delivered services have led many organizations and companies to return again and again. We conveniently bundle accommodation, venue, meals, and programs into a single package. Our cozy guest house can also be booked entirely for private use.

Responsible accommodation

It is a priority for us to care for our environment through our choices and practices. For us, sustainable development is more than just recycling - it is the foundation of all our activities. We pay attention to environmental, socio-cultural, and economic dimensions in our daily decisions in a systematic manner.

We have been granted the audited Hi-Q&S certification from Hostelling International for responsible accommodation, which requires our commitment to sustainability, as well as the Sustainable Travel Finland label, which necessitates concrete sustainability actions with specific metrics.

Greetings from our guests

I did like the staff, the place is incredible and I’m sure I’ll return there as soon as I can. The place is ideal for disconnection from the busy world and having some meditative time and I do like that they recycle as much waste as possible.
Super cute and cozy and the location just can't be matched. Suomenlinna fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you just get to sleep right there on the island and walk around in the peace and quiet and take a tiny ferry ride into Helsinki itself if you want excitement. Possibly the most relaxing vacation I've ever had in a city.
Suomenlinna is such a unique and beautiful place, and it's so nice that you can stay there overnight in this Hostel! The place is very clean, well organized and staff is super friendly. We slept so well and the kids loved the place. I can very highly recommend this place, if you're looking to enjoy Suomenlinna on your visit to Helsinki.
We had a great start to our Finland bike packing tour at hostel Suomenlinna. We felt very welcome, the kids loved the toys, the drawing desk, the football... For us gezien ups the location on beautiful Suomenlinna, the breakfast and especially the amazing staff was a pleasure. We will definitely come back.
The various group activities were interesting and worked well, allowing everyone to participate. The pizza workshop was a favorite among most participants. The star-gazing excursion also received praise. The hostel's facilities were well-suited for school camp activities. In the appropriately confined and clear spaces, supervision was easy, and during free time, everyone spent a lot of time together, preventing anyone from isolating themselves with their own group.
